Terms of Service

These draft terms describe the mock private-beta slice. Legal review is required before public launch.

Read-Only Use

TekConnect provides read-only access to shop data for evaluation. It does not create appointments, send messages, update repair orders, write to Tekmetric, or make operational decisions for a shop.

Authorized Access

Users must connect only shops they are authorized to access. Tenant context is derived from the TekConnect OAuth token, not caller-supplied organization or shop identifiers.

Browser Companion Scope

The current browser companion uses a local mock fixture and explicit user action. Production Tekmetric extraction remains blocked until the access mechanism, security review, legal review, and retention rules are approved in writing.

Disconnect And Delete

Users can disconnect ChatGPT, disconnect provider data, or delete the mock account through TekConnect lifecycle endpoints.

Private-Beta Consent

Public launch requires approved private-beta consent language covering read-only use, normalized data categories, retention windows, backup handling, and account deletion controls.
