Connect Tekmetric to ChatGPT

Use this flow only from a shop-owned Chrome profile where you are already authorized to access that Tekmetric shop.

1. Install TekConnect Connector

Install the TekConnect Connector extension in Chrome. For the private beta, download tekconnect-connector-0.1.0.zip, unzip it, and load the folder from Chrome Extensions using Developer Mode.

2. Open Tekmetric

Sign in to shop.tekmetric.com, open the shop you want to connect, and leave that tab active.

3. Capture This Shop

Open the TekConnect Connector popup and select Capture this shop. The connector sends the current shop ID and browser session artifacts to AuthHub so the hosted proxy can make read-only Tekmetric requests for that shop.

4. Connect ChatGPT

Add the TekConnect Developer Mode connector in ChatGPT using https://mcp.tekconnect.app/mcp. After OAuth completes, ask for open repair orders, today's appointments, or declined work.

5. Reauthorize When Needed

If ChatGPT says Tekmetric reauthorization is required, return to the authenticated Tekmetric tab and capture the shop again.
